AS-9100 Rev. "C" applies to contracted sellers that have requirements for the design, manufacture/production, inspection, and/or conformity, of the product. This includes performing or outsourcing manufacturing/fabrication, product installation, servicing, additional inspection or test, physical re-identification, product assembly, and/or kitting processes.

About QA Certification

Titan’s quality system has been certified to AS9100 since 2007 and we are proud to say that we have never had a major finding ever. As of 2016 we are certified to:

AS9100C, EN 9100:2009, JISQ 9100:2009 and ISO 9001:2008 which is the latest revision.

It is worth noting that this is an international certification and is recognized throughout the world aerospace industry. Titan has customers in Germany, France, Israel, Great Britain, Canada, Taiwan, and Brazil who rely on our certification in lieu of an onsite inspection prior to awarding a purchase order. The industry recognizes the stringent requirements that must be met for certification such as routine internal audits throughout the year. Annual third party onsite audits year by a certified auditor are required by the standard. Every three years a 5day onsite audit is performed again by a certified auditor. Both audits extend beyond the inspection department to every employee in the company.

The AS9100 Standard is not a just inspection procedure for parts but, rather a certified operational plan for the entire company. Bookkeepers, shipping, receiving, estimating, purchasing, inventory control, as well as operators on the production floor must demonstrate that they are meeting the requirements of AS 9100 with everything they do each day.

Certification to the standard requires a commitment from the company president on down and must become a philosophy or, way of life throughout the company to succeed.

The team at Titan are extremely proud of our record.
